Keeng is an original illustration at the heart of The Emotional Me.

He started as an unsmiling face — not sad on purpose, not happy on purpose,

just honest. Over time, through reflection on where he came from, Keeng grew into a character who doesn't shy away from any of it. He's a curious, caring companion who feels deeply, imagines freely, and reminds us that emotions deserve space, not shame.

Keeng doesn't always smile. He's not always happy — and that's the point. There's space for every emotion here, not just the easy ones.

Still figuring life out, just like the rest of us, Keeng connects with children and adults through creativity, storytelling, and emotional expression, helping turn big feelings into moments of connection, awareness, and growth.

For young children especially, Keeng is becoming a bridge into learning about emotions — someone who guides, educates, and reminds them that every feeling they have is okay and acceptable, that there's something to learn from each one, and that even the big ones can be understood and regulated.
